A combination of gorgeous harp and kalimba (thumb piano) playing, drum machines, synth lines and vocal layers. Includes a serene cover of John Lennon's 'Let It Be'! Fun fact, Jeff was one of Alice Coltrane's students at the Ashram and played in Brother Ah's band! Beautiful release!

The always reliable Rhythm Section is back with this mini album from Saul, a duo comprised of Jack Stephenson-Oliver (keys player with Vels Trio) and producer Barney Whittaker AKA Footshooter. Tempo Dischi's second release is one of electronic music’s seminal albums; 1978 Italian space disco album, 'Automat' by Automat. The album moves in the furrows of an atypical space disco, with abstract classical arias alternating with more sustained rhythms, which combine electronic experiments, and progressive psychedelic journeys with cinematic themes. This is a record that has influenced the music of our days and after 40 years still sounds contemporary. Tip!
