German duo Session Victim remains two of house music's more tender and musically minded creators. Their sound is equally suited to intimate house parties, clubs and a Sunday afternoon on the couch. After big appearances on Rhythm Section and Toy Tonics, their latest is put out by the tastemakers over at Night Time Stories. Expect gently swaying Balearic grooves, cosy deep-house gems, lush instrumentals and jazz beats to contest anyone in the South London revival scene. A stunner!

A personal favourite of mine from the last few years, this sometimes Deep-House and sometimes Hip-Hop record is a real treasure trove of dance-heavy sample-based flavour. Berlin-based producer Martin Georgi critically touches on the social issue of class by using ironic and strange samples as a vessel for his storytelling. Also includes Felipe Gordon and Delfonic to handle two killer deep dance edits and a Ghanaian rap duo on the title track. Deep, wicked stuff.
