Balearic lords Claremont 56 give us an early Christmas present with these two cuts from Detroit DJ and producer Blair French.
On the A, 'Sandbar Caviar' wafts and sways with island waves as gentle arpeggios ebb and flow, creating harmonies and cosmic textures. On the flip, 'Inland Island' adjusts our seats to a horizontal position with its snaking bassline and spacious percussion gradually opening into a heavenly vocal and guitar lead that's tantamount to transcendental. Strictly 300, no sleepy!

Brussels-based master tastemaker & DJ (and producer), soFa delivers his first-ever solo EP “All My Friends Are Witches”, tipping Planet Trip records into double digits. Take a head-first dive down the wormhole of soFa’s dubbed-out triiips made even more special with incredible vocalist collaborations with Saeko Killy, Ank and Nyati Mayi, plus a mind-bending remix from fellow PT extended family Mogwaa to close out the EP. Limited edition of 300. Top quality as always!
Visionary “Rap” EP by 18-year-old duo from 1989. Raw, West-Coast flows over early hip-house productions... so good it hurts. WAY ahead of its time! MAJOR TIP!
Invisible City Editions reissue (with booklet) a totally stunning Spiritual Jazz LP by D.C native Jeff Majors. A combination of gorgeous harp and kalimba (thumb piano) playing, drum machines, synth lines and vocal layers. Includes a serene cover of John Lennon's 'Let It Be'! Fun fact, Jeff was one of Alice Coltrane's students at the Ashram and played in Brother Ah's band! Beautiful release!
French producer Shelter began his production career re-editing quirky Balearic cuts, which resulted in an original EP release on Über (not the car bois). Those woozy, horizontal gems clearly resonated with International Feel's head honcho, as they've put Shelter on for his debut. Combining his usual new age-inspired melodies and tropical flavours, we also get post-disco pop, rubbery dub, woozy ambient and the kind of fluid, sun-baked electronica that defies easy categorization. A stunning blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation. Big tip for the tropical heads!
