'Dschung Tek' features three deep, percussive workouts from his 1983 solo album ‘Avanti’ and two detours into House music with alternate versions of the forward-thinking drum track ‘Dschung Tek’. Released in 1991 under Curt’s ‘C.C’ moniker, ‘Dschung Tek’ has been another big favourite at the Music From Memory HQ after a tip off by their pal and fellow tastemaker, Tornado Wallace. Dope!!

'More Energy Fields, Current' is another high point in the recorded continuum of prolific producer/percussionist Carlos Niño. Featuring heavy contributions from many of the most exciting ambient and jazz instrumentalists in the creative constellation of Los Angeles (of which Niño’s has been central for over 2 decades), the album holds 10 crystaline pieces of collaborative communication; elegantly presented in his unique “Spiritual, Improvisational, Space Collage” style. Nińo makes albums that need to be absorbed in one sitting (or preferably lying down), as each piece carries you through one portal to the next, before safely being set back down where it all began.
