Budgie is the son of Alan Scholefield, co-owner of the legendary London record label Honest Jons. Having basically grown up around the most diverse, rare and rich music imaginable, it's not surprise that the highly-sought after DJ and producer has carved a gospel-beat lane all on his own. This 2020 tape is the second in the Holy Ghost Zone series, where he chops up and blends rare gospel samples into his own hip-hop and soul beats. Many cuts here were initially crafted for Kanye West’s Sunday Service project. Comes as a buttery yellow vinyl as well as 7 tracks exclusive to the vinyl release!
