Founded in 2019, Astral Flex is a band of improvising musicians and producers from Naarm, headed up by local musical polymath Horatio Luna. Recorded on the 50th anniversary of humankind's first step on the moon, their debut release "I Can See My House From Here" is presented here in two forms; as a spacey nu-jazz improvisation on Side A, and as a collection of house/electronic remixes on Side B. Wicked stuff!

Cool story: 60s psychedelic folk strummer Cutter was spotted busking in an LA subway by one of the Claremont 56 team. Instantly submitting to his acoustic charms, they struck up a creative relationship. Together they created the cosmic beauty that is "Strutting Serpent". Sitting somewhere between Cat Stevens and Paqua, it's the epitome of Balearic timelessness.
