After 15 successful years, Spanish new wave artist Juan Alberto Arteche Guel left his band to experiment with new ideas. He bought a four-track reel-to-reel recorder, and began exploring imaginary global music worlds with a core of like-minded adventurers. Finis Africæ was born, and across 18 years and 7 albums, the best cuts have been compiled here. Deeply influenced by African music, Juan blended modern electric instruments with traditional acoustic instruments from many cultures to create reverberant, organic minimal funk, new wave compositions. INCREDIBLE stuff.

THE seminal 1988 Chicago house album, finally remastered and repackaged in a DJ-friendly 3x12" vinyl package. Words can't do it justice... so find some leather pants, dance around the house to this absolute doozy and feel it for yourself. Beyond essential!!
'Dschung Tek' features three deep, percussive workouts from his 1983 solo album ‘Avanti’ and two detours into House music with alternate versions of the forward-thinking drum track ‘Dschung Tek’. Released in 1991 under Curt’s ‘C.C’ moniker, ‘Dschung Tek’ has been another big favourite at the Music From Memory HQ after a tip off by their pal and fellow tastemaker, Tornado Wallace. Dope!!
