His large-scale murals extend and abstract visuals are uncovered in his studio practice. The references to the semi-abstract scapes of natural and built environments often echo the surrounding spaces, creating a dialogue between project and place.

Through his gallery artwork, he expresses dual experiences—aggression versus compassion, accomplishment versus failure and creation versus accumulation—by emphasising the role of contrast in his oil collages. ⁠Positive and negative elements enter into a cheerful interplay, and the viewer witnesses objects and figures connect with their environment by sharing defined edges, and bouncing between two-dimensional planes. ⁠
